Storage
Hall Storage
The hall has limited storage which is only available for regular hall users on a first come first serve basis. Those using hall storage are encouraged to minimize their storage needs by regularly organizing supplies and only storing items regularly used at the hall.
From time to time the hall may need to reallocate or reorganize the storage arrangements depending on the number and nature of the hall user groups. Groups using more storage than is proportional to their use may be asked to reduce their storage usage. Renters who use storage, do so at their own risk, and are expected to carry their own insurance if they are storing valuables.
Storage Restrictions
No food can be stored at the hall unless it is for the consumption of the group, is non-perishable, and is stored in metal tins.
No explosives, fuels, paints or toxic substances can be stored at the hall.
Storage Allocation and Inspections
Storage space is provided at no charge as a convenience to groups to facilitate efficient use of the hall. Storing at the hall enables some renters to setup and cleanup their events quicker, enabling more people to use the hall. A few groups, like the carpet bowlers, require storage as their equipment is not portable. Hall storage is made available at the discretion of the community association, and does not form part of the rental contract. All storage cupboards and lockers can and will be inspected from time to time, and storage which is being misused will be required to be vacated.
Kitchen Storage
Kitchen renters who keep food in the hall are required to have it locked in their own storage cupboard. One or more storage cupboards will be assigned as needed. No food is to be stored in the kitchen by any group outside of assigned and appropriate space.
