Wellington recreation groups supported by the Wellington Community Association

  • Historically the community association supported non-profit, Wellington neighbourhood based, youth and senior groups, aka Girl Guides of Canada, Boy Scouts of Canada, the Wellington Old age pensioners and the Wellington Leisure Timers by reserving Monday to Thursday hall time for these groups.  They used the hall on a donation basis.   Effective in 2024, Girl Guides have requested they pay standard rates rather than use the hall by donation, and the Wellington Boy Scout units and the Wellington Old Age pensioner groups have both ceased operations.  The Community Association has approved limited donation usage of the hall to a Wellington Neighbourhood association which requested the Hall for meetings.
